Planning a Spring Wedding
Spring is officially in the air, and we couldn’t be more excited! This season is a great time to plan a wedding, as the flowers begin to bloom, the weather is nicer and the evenings are longer. In this post, we’ll discuss all of the trends that will make the ultimate spring wedding come together, leaving your guests wishing every wedding took place during this beautiful season.
What’s a spring wedding without flowers? Daffodils, sweet peas and lilacs make for perfect table arrangement decorations that are affordable and classic. Add in delicate flowers made from rice paper to your wedding cake, if you’re sticking to the floral theme. Flowers will help to give your wedding a pop of color, along with elegance, like these napkins decorated with a sprig of rosemary or thyme.
Pink Is In
Not that it was ever out, but spring is definitely a good time to include the color in your event. Think pink, whether it’s the color of your bridesmaids’ dresses, roses or your “something old or something new.”
Have a little fun and get crafty when planning the perfect cocktail for your wedding this season. Serve up a whiskey smash, a simple cocktail that’s made with whiskey, white sugar, lemon and mint leaves. That sounds like a pretty refreshing drink to us! Not a whiskey drinker? Consider making a hibiscus margarita, made with hibiscus tea, limes and silver tequila. There’s plenty of delicious cocktails to make, and this article has you covered, and so do we with our bar highball cocktail glasses.
Take it Outside
Though you run the risk of rainy spring weather, spring can be a great time to have a wedding outside when the temperature is nearly just right. Consider renting a tent with us, like our clearspan or classic pole. Whether it’s for the ceremony or the reception, having a spring wedding outside with a draped tent is the way to go. If it gets too cold at night, add in a heater to keep your guests warm.
