Since 1924, Mahaffey Tent and Party Rentals has been turning ordinary places into extraordinary spaces. The Customer Service Representative will help customers determine which items best serve their needs, generate a contract for the rental and coordinate the order with our production staff. Much of the customer interaction is over the telephone, but excellent writing and communication skills and a professional appearance are essential.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working with people, have an outgoing personality and exhibit a good sense of humor. Candidate must have at least five years experience in sales/customer service and demonstrate experience with event planning. Computer literacy is a must (Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and the Internet). Experience with ACT! or CAD would be a plus. The ideal candidate must also be active within the local community and understand the culture, people, arts and institutions that make Memphis and the Mid-South a great place to live and work.
