Greenery with Envy
The Pantone Color Institute™ has announced the color of the year: greenery (Pantone 15-0343). This color is symbolic of new beginnings, because it evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive. The refreshing shade can work with any season and is appeasing to every guest’s eyes, so expect to see greenery at events throughout the year.
As nature’s neutral, the color of the year fits in perfectly with all events. It is easily added through floral arrangements, so be sure to have flowers on your mind as you plan events this year. For the most striking floral arrangements, contact one of our florist partners. Hosts can get creative with the color and add it to several elements of their function. For a more dramatic greenery effect, cover your tables with green linens.
Fill your menu with green foods, as they’ll match your theme and provide guests with healthier options. What’s better than that? Consider incorporating avocados, snap peas, green peppers, green apples or limes into snacks and meals. Matcha green tea lattes were all the rage in 2016, and that trend is not going anywhere this year. Serve your guests this nutritious take on the everyday latte. Margaritas are also a fan favorite, so take advantage of their greenish-tint.
We may be biased, but we’re pretty excited about the color of the year!
