It’s officially the season of autumn, and we’re eager for lower temperatures, falling leaves and fall weddings! The theme of rustic weddings is forecasted to be popular once again this fall. We’ve got the scoop on what ingredients you’ll need to capture this romantic, warm theme.
Color. Consider the leaves changing colors as guidance to your color theme and incorporate reds, oranges, browns and golds where you can. If you’re more of a neutral-loving bride, consider mixing in pops of these rustic colors with plates, flatware, florals, linens or napkins.
Fall foliage. Talk to your vendors about adding some festive florals atop the cake, in bouquets and boutonnières, or even as a hairpiece. Pumpkins are the ultimate representation of autumn and mix well with florals to serve as stunning centerpieces.
Lights. Especially for those couples getting hitched outdoors, we recommend Italian string bulbs. This subtle lighting is so romantic and looks great in pictures. Speaking of lighting, what’s more romantic than candles? Incorporate candlelight into different table settings.
Dessert. S’mores are popular year ‘round, but especially in the fall. Creating a s’mores bar is not only inexpensive, but also such a hit!
Favors. Send your guests home with caramel-coated apples and a sweet note thanking them for joining you on your special day.
